Set on a private ranch some 40km north-east of the town of Nanyuki, this very high-end lodge is owned by a very wealthy European, Jochen Zeitz, and forms the centre-piece for his unique vision of conservation for the region.
The lodge itself is centred on a colonial style farmstead, with the converted stables housing a bar and art installation. Further outbuildings contain a convention centre, more art displays, a gym and spa. Guest accommodation is in six sumptuous villas, raised up to take advantage of the views.
Activities are centred on vehicle safari and walking safari in the local area, with horse-back safari and other activities also being brought online.
